COVID-19 has had an unprecedented impact on students and families, and we are sensitive to the situations that many students and families are currently facing. On June 26, Vie Logement et Résidence contacted you to inform you that if you learn that all your courses for the fall semester will be cancelled, you can cancel your contract without penalty if you do so before July 20 at 5 p..m. As we continue to navigate this ever-changing environment, we note that you won`t know about their schedule changes until July 23rd. Therefore, we would like to extend the date on which you must inform us if you wish to cancel your contract until Monday, July 27 at 17:00 .m. To cancel your contract, log in to the apartment portal, click Request for Termination of Contract/Lease, and then follow the instructions A dormitory is reserved for summer apartments. Summer contracts can be for Summer I, Summer II or both sessions. Registration begins after spring break. Room assignments are made when students check into the summer room. If you want to change your dormitory assignment, you can enter the housing system from July 27 at 10 a.m EST. With more than 3,000 students in rooms, you may need to look at multiple rooms or floors to refine a new space. The spring semester 2020 brought with it complicated and stressful scenarios as it involves on-campus accommodation and student refunds.
It looks like wMU wants to be on the trend this year. The campus apartments offer accommodation for the following students: Western Michigan to allow for the termination of Impunity No. If you plan to return to campus in the spring semester, take home some important items and leave the rest. Access to the room is not possible. If you do not intend to return in the spring, you should remove all your personal belongings and return the key to check. The positive student will move to isolation housing or move to an off-campus location. As reported by WMU`s student publication, The Western Herald, eligible students can cancel their housing contract without penalty for the value of a full semester if they are completed before 5:00 p.m.m. .
